Royal Caribbean Shutting Down Website for Hurricane Irma

Update from Royal Caribbean on Saturday September 9 9:00 pm: “We are happy to advise that due to the shift in the path of Hurricane Irma, we no longer need to shut down our systems.  All of our bookings systems including online check-in will be available for your use as normal. Thank you for your understanding and your ongoing support of Azamara, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises.”

Original Article: Royal Caribbean has sent out an email to travel agents letting them know of a planned outage to their reservation system that will affect online check-in, reservations, pre-cruise planner, and more for the next two days.

The following is the message sent to travel agents by the cruise line warning them of the planned outage.

“Due to Hurricane Irma, we need to take our reservations system offline to avoid any potential issues when the storm hits our facilities in South Florida. Our website, Online Check-in, Pre-Cruise Planner, Espresso and Reservation Systems will not be available starting on Midnight Saturday evening. We expect the systems to be operational late on Sunday after the storm has passed.
