Carnival Cruise Line has partnered with Amazon to offer an Amazon Echo Dot to the first 1,150 people who book a cruise on Carnival’s ad on Amazon.com.
Interested customers can visit Amazon.com and click on a Carnival display ad, which will take them to a dedicated page on the Carnival Cruise Line website. Amazon cruise bookings will be coded so the cruisers receive the perks, and travel professionals will still receive commission if their clients book the offer through them. Cruises must be taken between March 2017 and April 2019 and must be paid in full at the time of booking to qualify for the incentives. Cruises start at $259 per person, based on double occupancy. Cruise payments are non-refundable.

This special runs from November 21-23, 2016 or until supplies last. Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line, said that this partnership with Amazon is an opportunity to introduce cruising to their huge audience. She went on to say that “both Carnival and Amazon offer an exceptional range of options and experiences in music, food, family and entertainment, which makes this an exciting collaboration.”
The Amazon Echo Dot is a voice controlled device that plays music, controls home devices, and provides information. It can be used to control thermostats, fans, lights, garage doors, and even sprinklers. The Amazon Echo Dot retails for $49.99 on Amazon.com.
