Carnival Cruise Lines has expanded their cheaper, faster internet packages to an additional nine cruise ships according to Sr. Cruise Director John Heald.
The $5 a day, or $25 per cruise packages allow passengers to connect to their favorite social media apps on their phones/tablets for a fraction of the price that they would pay on the standard internet rates. The cruise ships that now have the $5 a day social media package are:

Carnival Dream, Carnival Conquest, and Carnival Glory will be the next Funships to receive social media internet packages. The cruise line is hoping to add the internet package to most their fleet of 24 cruise ships by October.
