Princess Cruises Launching Shark Week at Sea Fleetwide

Princess Cruises announced an addition to their Discovery at Sea program that brings the excitement of Shark Week to all of their cruise ships year round.

This new entertainment will feature onboard parties, premiere television content, giveaways, trivia games, and shark themed culinary bites and beverages.  Jan Swartz, the president of Princess Cruise, gave the following statement:

“We know how wildly popular Shark Week is worldwide and we’re excited to bring even more fun, education and entertainment to our guests.

Through our Discovery at Sea partnership, we offer our guests exclusive themed activities and TV content we know they will enjoy.”

Shark Week at Sea will have activities for adults and kids that will educate, amuse, surprise, and “create an appreciation for these tremendously misunderstood denizens of the deep”.

Shark Week at Sea will feature the following activities:

Fish Stories About Sharks – The cruise staff will host this quiz style activity where passengers will learn amazing and interesting facts about sharks.  The theme will be fun and humor so passengers can separate truth from “fish tales”.

Swim with the Sharks – Five rounds of challenges where passengers will take part in different fun, active, and hilarious challenges.
