Royal Caribbean has added a Fresh Kosher Dining Package on two of their largest cruise ships for Yeshiva Week in 2020.
The Fresh Kosher Dining Packages will be available on the January 19, 2020 sailings on Allure of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas. Both cruises are week long sailings to the Caribbean.
Allure of the Seas will depart from Port Everglades and visit St. Maarten, San Juan, and Perfect Day on the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas. Harmony of the Seas will depart from Port Canaveral and visit Cozumel, Roatan, Costa Maya, and Perfect Day on CocoCay.
The Fresh Kosher Dining Package will cost $25 per day for adults, $12.50 per day for kids 5-12, and kids four and under will be free. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included when the package is purchased.
The kosher meals will be served buffet style in the Solarium Bistro and the venue will be used exclusively for the Kosher meals.
Kosher red and white wine will be available for purchase by the bottle (limited quantities available).
All kosher meals will be under Mashgiach Temidi, all meats are Glatt Kosher, and milk products are Chalav Stam.
Royal Caribbean recommends guests to book at least four weeks prior to sailing as the Fresh Kosher Dining Package many not be available to purchase once on board as space is limited.
Guests who purchase the Fresh Kosher Dining Package will receive a sticker on their SeaPass card for recognition of purchasing the package.
The Fresh Kosher Dining Package is currently being piloted on board the two cruise ships and the cruise line is looking to expand it based on demand in the future.
I tried to book this meal plan and it was sold out. I asked if there was a wait list or if we could be added and the answer was “No.” I wish I would have known when I booked the cruise.
I tried to reserve this and couldn’t. Can someone advise how I can do this? We are leaving on Jan 19 out of Orlando
We also tried and weren’t successful and now they claim its sold out!! I am so upset!!
Thank you Royal Carribean for making this option possible for your Jewish passenger. Enough of eating cat food while everybody else getting wonderful buffet for the same price.
Cholov Yisroel would be a wonderful option, even if it would be another few dollars…. unless you specifically aren’t looking for that caliber of clientele?
I think they do this every year. But it’s nice to see they are still doing it.
