Construction continues on Carnival Cruise Line’s largest cruise ship to date, Carnival Vista. Carnival Vista is now in a wet dock at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2016.
Carnival released a few photographs of the staterooms being installed on Carnival Vista. The staterooms are built at a different location and then put into place on the ship. There will be a total of 1,968 staterooms that include balcony staterooms, spa cabins, inside, and deluxe ocean view family staterooms.
I always find pictures from the shipyards interesting as cruise ships are slowly built. It’s fascinating watching the process, from the first piece of steel being cut until the ship is completed and delivered to the cruise line. I hope you enjoy these construction photos of Carnival’s 133,500 gross ton Fun Ship.
