Norwegian Cruise Line will be sending one of their cruise ships to the Bahamas tomorrow to deliver supplies collected by their team members and the City of Miami. Norwegian is the latest cruise line to announce assistance to the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian.
To address the immediate need for assistance, Norwegian Breakaway will depart for Nassau, Bahamas on September 5 to deliver relief supplies donated by Norwegian Cruise Line and the City of Miami.
In addition, Norwegian Cruise Line is committing $1 million for All Hands and Hearts to begin an immediate short-term response. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings will also be matching donations dollar for dollar to assist with rebuilding efforts across the areas impacted by the storm. Your contributions will help fund rebuilding efforts with their partner, All Hands and Hearts.
Norwegian Cruise Line gave a statement saying that they stand with the people of the Bahamas and will continue to offer their support and assistance as the Bahamas recovers from this unprecedented event.
Norwegian Cruise Line joins Royal Caribbean, Disney, and Carnival in pledging aid to the Bahamas. The cruise lines have committed over $5 million in relief over the past 24 hours.
