Disney Cruise Line’s next new cruise ship, Disney Destiny, left the shipyard last night after two years of construction.

Disney Destiny departed from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany for its conveyance, the process of transporting a ship to the open ocean for the first time.

The cruise ship will sail down 20 miles of the Ems River. Once the journey is complete, Disney Destiny will undergo sea trials out of Eemshaven, Netherlands.

Sea trials are a series of tests to make sure the ship is seaworthy ahead of its two-week Transatlantic cruise.

Finishing touches will also be completed ahead of the ship’s debut in exactly two months.

Disney Destiny will debut on November 20, 2025. The ship will homeport in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida sailing four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Disney Destiny will be the 3rd Wish class ship from Disney Cruise Line, currently the largest class in their fleet.
