Cunard Line announced the change this week in light of the on-going situation with Covid-19 and U.S. and U.K. health departments.

The cruise line has relaxed their balance due payments terms on all vacations booked on a retail fare, departing up to and including June 30, 2021, to 30 days prior to departure.

This new policy is for cruises 30 nights or less. Cunard has also amended their cancelation fee schedule to the following:

  • 29 to 22 days prior to sailing – 50%
  • 21 to 15 days prior to sailing – 75%
  • 14 days or less prior to sailing – 100%

Guests who booked directly with Cunard will receive communication from the cruise line regarding the change.  Those who booked through a travel advisor should hear directly with them.

Cunard said that they plan on resuming cruises only when it is the right time to do so.  The cruise line currently has all cruises canceled through the middle of May.
