Carnival Wrapping Up $2 Billion Cruise Ship Enhancement Program

When Carnival Radiance emerges from dry dock later this year after $200 million in upgrades, Carnival Cruise Line will wrap up a decadelong $2 billion fleet-enhancement program that has touched every Carnival cruise ship.

Carnival Victory will be transformed into Carnival Radiance during a dry dock that will last from early March until late April. The cruise ship will then sail a series of cruises in the Mediterranean before heading to New York. From New York, a variety of cruises will be offered with destinations in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Canada/New England. In October, the cruise ship will be based in Norfolk offering week long cruises to the Caribbean and Bahamas.

As part of Carnival Cruise Line’s ship enhancement program, popular features are nearly ubiquitous across the fleet through a combination of branded offerings which provide guests with a consistent level of dining, entertainment and amenities, including:

Enticing F&B Innovations

Cucina del Capitano: offering delicious Italian favorites and new Carnival classics served family-style in an engaging atmosphere reminiscent of a cozy Italian home.
