Viking’s incredible growth continues as the cruise line took delivery of two more river ships, one for Europe and one of the Nile River in Egypt.

Viking Honir is the newest Longship to join Viking’s fleet. The 190 guest river ship will offer cruises on the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers.
The ship features the elegant Scandinavian design and industry-leading innovations for which Viking is known, including a distinctive square bow, three full decks, indoor/outdoor Aquavit Terrace, asymmetric corridor and true two-room suites.

Viking Thoth is a custom built ship for the Nile River. The 82 passenger ship will sail Viking’s insanely popular Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary.
Viking Thoth is a sister ship to Viking Osiris, Viking Aton, Viking Sobek, Viking Hathor and Viking Amun.
Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking, said the following:
“We are proud to welcome the Viking Honir and the Viking Thoth to our growing river fleet,” said. With the arrival of these elegant new ships, we are pleased to offer even more curious travelers the opportunity to explore some of the world’s most iconic waterways in Viking comfort.”
With the addition of these two new ships, Viking now has another 23 river ships scheduled to join the fleet by 2028.
The cruise line also have 10 more ocean ships entering the fleet by 2031. This will give Viking a total of 135 river, ocean and expedition cruise ships.
