October is National Cruise Month 2011

CLIA, Cruise Lines International Association, has been calling October National Cruise Vacation Month.  This year, they are changing it to National Cruise Vacation week from October 17-23.  They have also replaced the one day World’s Largest Cruise Night to focus on this week.

All the major cruise lines participate in this and offer incredible deals.  What does this mean for you?  It means that if you are thinking about taking a cruise in the next 12 months, there is no better time to put a deposit down on a cruise.

Norwegian Cruise Line is offering up to $250 in onboard credit and 50% off deposits on all cruises in the next 14 months.  NCL is running this special until the end of October.

Royal Caribbean is offering up to $200 in onboard credit and cruises that start at just $219 a person.

Carnival is offering up to $150 cash back on all 3-6 day cruises that start at $279 a person.  They are also offering up to $300 cash back on 12 day Europe cruises.
