One of the best perks of cruising with the same cruise line is moving up the loyalty ranks. This gets you awesome perks every time you step on board one of their cruise ships.
From priority boarding to discounts and freebies, it’s no wonder why so many cruisers sail on just one cruise line.
However, there is one cruise line that will match your loyalty status. MSC Cruises will not only match your loyalty status with other cruise lines, but also hotel and tour operators (no airlines). This is how it works.
In order to qualify for MSC’s Status Match program, you must apply no later than 7 days before your cruise start date. You will need to allow up to 4 – 7 business days for your status match request to be completed. MSC Cruises will match your currently loyalty status from your favorite cruise line to an equivalent one that is part of MSC’s Voyager Club.
You will be assigned an MSC Voyagers Club level, from Classic to Black, guaranteeing you a 5% discount on any future cruise booking and a similar or higher privilege status than your current loyalty program.
Here are some of the privileges for MSC Voyagers Club members during the cruise:
- Priority boarding
- Bottle of spumante in stateroom
- Courtesy towel bathrobe
- Access to the thermal area in the MSC Aurea Spa
- Complimentary dinner in a specialty restaurant
- View Prices on MSC Cruises
MSC Cruises also has the sweetest new cruise ship sailing to the Caribbean from Miami. Take a video tour of MSC Seaside:
Passengers will physically receive their membership card once on board for their first cruise with MSC Cruises. It is not possible to combine MSC Voyagers Club points with points from the benefit card data of other cruise companies.
The 5% cruise discount applies on bookings made after the Status Match registration. So if you are thinking about booking a cruise on MSC, have them match your loyalty status first so you can receive an extra 5% off of your cruise.
MSC Cruises is the leading cruise line in Europe. MSC currently operates one cruise ship out of PortMiami, the revolutionary MSC Seaside. This coming fall, MSC Divina will join MSC Seaside sailing cruises to the Caribbean from Miami. A third MSC cruise ship, MSC Meraviglia, will begin sailing from Miami in the fall of 2019.
They need to put a ship somewhere in Florida besides Miami. It is to hard to drive to.
I think its a great idea to get custom but it surely gets up the noses of some of those who have built there loyalty up from scratch . Not sure what there gripe is the more people who use the cruise line the cheaper cruises will be #getoveryourselves
