Celebrity Cruises has announced the entertainment that will be offered on their next new cruise ship debuting in a month, Celebrity Ascent.
Entertainment on Celebrity Ascent will range from new theater shows to a new deck party to brand new gaming and interactive experiences.
Celebrity’s Signature Deck Party will take place on the ship’s Resort Deck that will include high-energy experiences to a prism light show. Ascent After Dark: Shine the Night will invite passengers to wear metallic attire in an event that will take place under the stars.
The theater on Celebrity Ascent will host three new shows, Awaken, Residency, and Bridges. The cruise line is bringing the latest state-of-the-art technology to wow cruisers in these mesmerizing shows.
Awaken will be a contemporary and technological spectacle taking guests on an eye-opening journey through a showcase of surreal dreams and awakening their senses to explore a world where anything is possible.
Residency will be a high energy concert production inspired by iconic Las Vegas residencies, celebrating timeless artists from Elvis to Lady Gaga, Cher, U2, and Bruno Mars, featuring authentic footage paying homage to Las Vegas and the iconic restored signs from the Neon Museum, filmed exclusively for the show.
Bridges will be a feel-good, uplifting celebration of human connection, set against the backdrop of some of the world’s most iconic bridges from London to Venice, New York, San Francisco, and Sydney, and featuring an automated bridge onstage as the centerpiece that transports audiences to breathtaking location.
There will also be live shows and performances all around the cruise ship. In Eden, there will be three different performances that will combine vocals with mind-blowing acrobats. Allure, Shimmerbox, and Dreams will take place in this three story space at the back of the ship.
Celebrity Cruises is also bringing new gaming experiences to Celebrity Ascent. One will be an 80s inspired retro experience where cruisers will use their body as a controller as the game’s surface will be projected onto the floor.
Other experiences will include karaoke, a tabletop escape style game, and sketch art classes.
In The Club, a new show called Smoke & Ivories will turn the lounge into an old Hollywood club, but with a modern twist.
A piano bar entertainer will perform throughout each cruise in different locations on the ship.
Favorites that Celebrity cruisers have come to love and enjoy will also be on Celebrity Ascent. This includes Pickleball at Sea, Camp at Sea, Chandelier Light Show in the Grand Plaza, and Pub Games Night.

Celebrity Ascent is scheduled to debut on November 22, 2023 when the cruise ship sails a four night cruise to the Caribbean. The cruise ship will spend the winter season sailing from Port Everglades offering seven night Caribbean sailings.
In April 2024, Celebrity Ascent will head to Europe and offer summer cruises in the Mediterranean.
