Earlier this year, Viking announced that they are launching cruises on the Mississippi River starting in 2022. Now, the cruise line has added a new itinerary that allows for privileged access to Graceland.
Setting sail in December 2022, the new 8-day itinerary will explore destinations between New Orleans and Memphis. In addition to Christmas light displays, Cajun cuisine and historic ports of call, guests will enjoy exclusive Privileged Access to Graceland.
During this special excursion to Elvis Presley’s iconic mansion, guests will experience a private, after-hours visit including a tour of the mansion and the complex’s connecting venues and exhibits – Presley Cycles, Archives Experience, Private Presley: Elvis in the Army Exhibit, Elvis: The Entertainer Career Museum, and more.
Viking lists the following on their website for this special Holiday in Graceland excursion:
“Enjoy an unforgettable evening at Elvis’s iconic mansion, aglow with holiday lights and festive decorations. Discover this memorabilia-filled home and be immersed in his rock ’n’ roll world. Indulge in a private, after-hours visit exclusively for Viking guests, witnessing the mansion’s highlights: the living room’s 15-foot couch, famed Jungle Room and paisley-covered Pool Room.
Delight in the mansion’s Christmas decorations, presented as originally displayed by Elvis—including hundreds of blue lights along the driveway and Presley family Christmas artifacts. Following the mansion tour, explore the complex’s connecting venues and exhibits including Presley Cycles, Archives Experience, Private Presley: Elvis in the Army Exhibit, Elvis: The Entertainer Career Museum, and more.”
Prices start at $3,999 per person and includes one guided tour in each port of call.
