The two main cruise ports in South Florida, PortMiami and Port Everglades, have officially reopened. Both ports have been closed due to Hurricane Dorian.
PortMiami, the Cruise Capital of the World, and Port Everglades are now open. Cruise ships are now allowed to return to the ports and can resume cruises.
Port Everglades reached out to Cruise Fever with the following message letting us know that the port has reopened: “Port Everglades is open and fully operational. The first vessel is scheduled to arrive at 6 PM tonight.”

Port Everglades also posted on Twitter about the port reopening.

PortMiami and Port Everglades are first and third largest cruise ports in the country. Together they serve nearly 9 million cruise passengers each year.
