The mile long crescent shaped beach is lined with white sand and palm trees, a perfect beach day on a cruise. 1. My friend invited me on a HAL cruise to eastern Caribbean cruise and our last stop was to be Half Moon Cay. We did not make it because a person went overboard and we had to wait in the area before the ship was released to continue on. As far as I know, my friend did not get a refund for missing that island. Was very disappointing, especially after seeing the video!
