Half Moon Cay is a private cruise port in the Bahamas visited by Carnival Corporation cruise ships. For the last several years, Half Moon Cay was voted the #1 cruise private island by the readers of Cruise Fever.
Unless you’ve been to Half Moon Cay, you really can’t understand how beautiful the island really is. We came across an incredible 4K drone video from a day a Carnival Cruise Line ship was visiting the island.
The mile long crescent shaped beach is lined with white sand and palm trees, a perfect beach day on a cruise. I was fortunate to go to Half Moon Cay in Dec 2017. It was beautiful and my favorite spot of our cruise. Carnival hosted a cook out there and it was great. The beach was beautiful and relaxing.
We love going to Half Moon Cay!!! We’ve been there at least four times and can’t wait to go back again.
My friend invited me on a HAL cruise to eastern Caribbean cruise and our last stop was to be Half Moon Cay. We did not make it because a person went overboard and we had to wait in the area before the ship was released to continue on. As far as I know, my friend did not get a refund for missing that island. Was very disappointing, especially after seeing the video!
