Celebrity Beyond is designed to give guests endless opportunities to disconnect from the world while simultaneously reconnecting with the world that surrounds them. The cruise ships goes further than imagined possible for a cruise ship, creating a new world of wonder and luxury.
Here are artist renderings of Celebrity Beyond that will define luxury at sea.
Designed by world-class designer Kelly Hoppen CBE and architect Tom Wright, the Rooftop Garden invites guests day or night to relax or play. Whether it’s lounging under one of the shaded seating areas, dancing the night away, or gazing up at the stars as the ship glides over the sea below, the Rooftop Garden offers something for everyone to escape reality.
The new two-level Retreat Sundeck offers secluded cabanas, chic seating, water features, the Retreat Bar and more all to help guests make the most of the ocean air.The Resort Deck is a stunning asymmetrical space featuring a 25-yard lap pool complete with in-pool loungers and surrounded by a terraced pool deck for guests to soak in the Vitamin D. The new sunken seating areas and two-story martini glass-shaped hot tubs give guests unique venues to connect.One of the most anticipated venues on Celebrity Beyond the Nate Berkus-designed Sunset Bar is nearly twice as large as previous iterations. The Moroccan-inspired escape, with conversation niches and covered enclaves, is reminiscent of a modern-day Casablanca and sure to be one of the hottest spots at sea. Guests enter through a pergola-covered entrance and Sunset Bar’s cascading terraces combine to provide the perfect place to soak in spectacular views and create unforgettable memories.
At the core of Celebrity Beyond’s vision of luxury is the Grand Plaza, a transformational place at the center of the ship designed by Jouin Manku — the team responsible for designing the Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower — and offering a different experience with every visit. Inspired by the piazzas of Italy, the Grand Plaza spans three decks at the heart of the ship, boldly declaring it is the place to see and be seen. Larger than Grand Plazas on its sister Edge Series ships, designers moved the Martini Bar into the center of the venue as a full, circular bar, with an iconic LED chandelier hanging above and casting an inviting glow at all hours.The groundbreaking Infinite Veranda staterooms introduced on Celebrity Edge have been upgraded on Celebrity Beyond and now feature new color schemes and decor carefully selected by world class designer Kelly Hoppen CBE. These transformational staterooms blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, opening up the room to the reinvigorating ocean air with the touch of a button.These spacious two-story luxury residences seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living. Each villa offers guests 950 sq. ft of living space and features a private terrace with endless views, a three-foot-deep plunge pool, inviting lounge furniture, and direct access to The Retreat.The largest in the Celebrity Cruises fleet, the Celebrity Beyond’s Iconic Suite is positioned high at the top of the ship above the bridge. Featuring two bedrooms and two full baths, the Iconic Suite is 2,581 sq. ft. of pure new luxury with sweeping panoramic views that are unrivaled. The contemporary suite accommodations feature fresh color palettes and exclusive design details carefully curated by world renowned designer Kelly Hoppen CBE.
The private restaurant, Luminae at The Retreat, features a new design by Kelly Hoppen that’s as boldly elegant as the cuisine. Repositioned to the front of the ship with panoramic floor-to-ceiling views, Luminae features exclusive menus crafted by Celebrity’s Michelin-starred chef.
Aptly named Le Voyage, Celebrity Beyond features a new, intimate 50-seat restaurant by world-renowned chef Daniel Boulud. With travel serving as inspiration, the globally inspired flavors are designed to transport guests to the very places that inspire the Michelin-rated chef. Complementing Chef Boulud’s world-class menu is the restaurant’s ambiance, complete with layers of enchanting light and texture, which is also the result of Jouin Manku’s design talents.
Celebrity Beyond will depart on her maiden voyage on April 27, 2022 from Southampton, England, on a 10 night Western Europe cruise visiting Bordeaux, France; Lisbon, Portugal; and Seville, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona, Spain.
The cruise ship will then offer a variety of Mediterranean journeys including nine-night Italian Riviera and France itineraries and 10 night Greek Isles itineraries through early October, when she then heads to the Caribbean. Voyages are on sale as of April 28, 2021 at 3p.m. ET.
