The Bahamas Press is reporting that a fire broke out last night on Princess Cays, a private resort area visited by Carnival Corporation cruise ships.
The fire on Princess Cays broke out last night at around 11 p.m. and it’s believed to have started in the generator section of the cruise line’s resort. Several videos, which can be seen below, were posted to YouTube of the fire on Princess Cays. The Bahamas Press reported that fire trucks were deployed to the area after the fire broke out.
There is no word yet on the extent of the damage. Cruise Fever will have the latest when more information becomes available. No cruise ships are scheduled to visit the port today.
