The cruise ship is currently quarantined by health officials and docked in St. Lucia. CNBC is reporting that the cruise ship is Freewinds, a small ship owned by the Church of Scientology. Officials in St. Lucia have declined to name the vessel involved.

There are fewer than 300 passengers and crew members on board ship. The crew member is currently in isolation and passengers and other crew members are being required to stay on board and not disembark the ship.

Measles is a highly contagious disease and anyone who has not been properly vaccinated can contract the disease.

Crew members on the ship are currently working with the Pan American Health Organization and the Caribbean Public Health Agency.

The cruise ship has been under quarantine since Monday.
