Celebrity Cruises has announced that bookings have officially opened for Celebrity Xcite, the cruise line’s sixth Edge class ship. The ship will offer seven-night cruises to the Caribbean from Miami.
Celebrity Cruises will have 10 cruise ships sailing to the Caribbean during the 2028-2029 season. In addition to Celebrity Xcite making its debut, the cruise line will offer short cruises on an Edge class ship for the first time.
Celebrity Xcite’s inaugural season will feature seven-night Caribbean vacations from Miami, bringing guests to some of the region’s most popular destinations. Rotating itineraries will take guests to St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, and the Dominican Republic.
Highlights of Celebrity’s 2028-29 Caribbean Season
Celebrity Beyond will offer new three-night weekend cruises from Fort Lauderdale, the first time an Edge class ship has offered short sailings. The ship will sail a total of nine short cruises to The Bahamas.
Celebrity Silhouette will sail eight- and 12-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean with port stops in Barbados, Saint Lucia, Martinique, and Grenada.
Celebrity Beyond will offer more sailings to the Panama Canal than ever before.
Celebrity Reflection will sail year-round to the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Celebrity Ascent will offer longer cruises, nine- to 12-night sailings with visits to Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curaçao, Saint Lucia, Martinique, St. Maarten, Barbados, Antigua, and Turks and Caicos Islands.
Celebrity Xcel will alternate between six- and eight-night cruises to the Western and Southern Caribbean.
Celebrity Apex will return to Port Canaveral by offering sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
From Tampa, Celebrity Constellation will sail week-long cruises to Key West, The Bahamas, and the Western Caribbean.

On December 9, 2026, Celebrity Cruises will open Caribbean sailings in the summer of 2028 for booking.
