7 Reasons Why You Should Take a Cruise in 2018

Not that anyone needs an excuse to take a cruise, but here are 7 reasons why you should take a cruise in 2018.
Price – Due to a record number of cruise ships, especially sailing to the Caribbean, cruise lines are doing everything they can to try and fill all of the cabins.  As they try to fill as many berths as possible, they are offering incredible rates and incentives to book a cruise.

When adjusted for inflation, taking a cruise has never been cheaper. Carnival Cruise Line is offering seven night cruises to the Caribbean starting at just $64 a night, per person. MSC Cruises has 7 night cruises starting at $449 per person and Royal Caribbean? They are offering 30% off every cruise.  We can’t forget about Norwegian who is offering the choice of up to five free offers that include free drink packages, WiFi, dining packages, and shore excursion credits.

When adding in port taxes, fees, and gratuity, you can often spend a week in the Caribbean for less than $500 per person.  A cruise offers more value for your money than any other type of vacation. View Latest Cruise Cruise Deals

Memories with your family –  Take your family on a vacation that they will never forget.  A cruise offers activities for passengers of all ages, something that everyone would love.  When I look back at my own family cruises, they are the best vacations that we have ever taken. I’m sure your family will have the same feelings that I have.

Opportunity to visit new places – A cruise will give you the opportunity to visit multiple countries as you visit different ports.  You will be able to take in different cultures on one vacation, something that you can’t do by visiting an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean.

Whether you cruise to the Caribbean, Alaska, Mediterranean, Asia, or the South Pacific, it is a great way to see different parts of the world on one trip, without packing and unpacking multiple times.

Meet new friends – I can’t tell you the number of times I have read accounts of people who have met other passengers on cruises and have since become lifelong friends.  It is a great way to connect with others who have a passion for the sea.

A cruise is also one of the only vacations where you can connect with those you are vacationing with before hand.  Though one of the many websites have have cruise “roll calls” or through Facebook groups, it is an easy way of connecting and meeting new people.

Romance – They didn’t call the hit TV show “The Love Boat” for nothing. Cruising is romantic, from walking the promenade deck at night under the stars to a dinner for two, a cruise is perfect for honeymoons or celebrating anniversaries.  Most cruise lines offer wedding packages so you can tie the knot at sea.  The wedding chapels are also great for renewing your vows.

Exotic locations – A cruise will give you the opportunity to visit exotic locations at a fraction of the cost of staying at a resort.  You can have the opportunity to visit Bora Bora, Tahiti, Hawaii, Dubai, the Amazon, and even the Arctic Circle.

Health – A study that was recently conducted found that people who took yearly vacations lived less stressful lives and had a longer life expectancy. Why should you take a cruise?  For your health of coarse!
