Virgin Voyages Releases Renderings of New Cruise Terminal in Miami

Virgin Voyages, the most anticipated new cruise line in years, has released renderings of their first cruise terminal in the Cruise Capital of the World, PortMiami.

Virgin’s first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady, will begin sailing to the Caribbean from Miami in 2020. While Virgin Voyages has yet to release exact itineraries or the length of the cruises, we do know that some cruises will have an overnight stay in Havana, Cuba.

Scarlet Lady is the first of three cruise ships from Virgin Voyages. Passengers will be referred to as sailors and they must be 18 years or older to sail on the cruise line. The cruise experience will be unlike anything else offered by any other cruise line as it will be geared towards those who haven’t taken a cruise.

The cruise ship will also not have main dining rooms or a buffet. In keeping with the non-traditional cruise experience that will offered on board, there will also be a tattoo parlor.
