Ritz Carlton’s First Cruise Ship Touches Water for the First Time

Ritz Carlton, one of the world’s newest cruise lines, is first luxury hotel company to bring the ambiance of their resorts to the sea.

Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection’s first vessel touched water for the first time during a flout-out ceremony that took place at the Hijos De J. Barreras Shipyard in Vigo, Spain.

The ship is the first of three vessels from Ritz Carlton. Each yacht will feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate up to 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere. As with the Ritz-Carlton on land, each yacht will feature personalized service, elevated dining and luxury amenities. To provide the highest quality service, there will be nearly as many staff members as guests.

The specially designed yacht will measure 190-meters, accommodate up to 298 passengers and feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace. The yacht will also feature two 158 square-meter lavish Owner’s suites, each with its own private whirlpool, modern craftsmanship and interior finishes jointly designed by The Ritz-Carlton and leading design firm Tillberg Design of Sweden.
