Disney Cruise Line has announced that Disney Wish will be the name of the cruise line’s fifth cruise ship when the vessel debuts in a few years.
The first in a class of new cruise ships from Disney Cruise Line, Disney Wish will be delivered from the shipyard in late 2021 and begin sailing cruises in January 2022. The ship will homeport in Port Canaveral and come in at 140,000 gross tons in size.
The Disney character on the stern will be Rapunzel. Disney Wish will embody the elegance and romance of the golden age of ocean cruising with unique touches all her own, keeping with the distinct Disney Cruise Line style. The ship will offer more innovation, new technologies, spectacular entertainment and more Disney stories and characters than ever before.
