The incident happened just west of Grand Bahama Island when an adult male was seen going overboard the cruise ship.  The Coast Guard was  immediately notified and joined the ship in a search and rescue mission.

Passengers on board stated that the passenger was rescued from the water in less than an hour and taken to the ship’s medical center.  The cause of the unidentified passenger going overboard is unknown at this time.

Disney Dream was returning to Port Canaveral during a four night cruise to the Bahamas after stopping in Nassau and the cruise line’s private island, Castaway Cay.
