Cruise Line Searching For Cruise Passenger Who Went Overboard

Search and rescue operations are underway for a 44 year old Carnival Cruise Line passenger who went overboard on one of their cruise ships on Sunday night.

The passenger reportedly went overboard on Carnival Triumph when the ship was sailing in the Gulf of Mexico. Carnival immediately started a search and rescue operation and notified all appropriate authorities.

Carnival Cruise Line’s CARE Team is providing support and assistance to the woman’s family.

Carnival Triumph is currently on a five night cruise to the Western Caribbean that departed from New Orleans on January 20, 2018.  The ship was originally scheduled with port stops in Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.
