Celebrity Cruises Returning to the Mexican Riviera Next Year

Celebrity Cruises will once again be offering cruises to the Mexican Riviera in the Fall of 2022 with seven and eight night sailings from the Port of Los Angeles.

Celebrity Millennium will offer a series of 12 cruises from late September through mid-December, before embarking on a special 15-night bucket-list Panama Canal crossing over the holidays.

Celebrity Millennium was recently transformed as part of the cruise line’s extensive multi-million dollar Celebrity Revolution, making it one of the most modern and unique cruise ships at sea.

Celebrity Millennium features Celebrity Cruises’ signature contemporary, high-style spaces and onboard experiences including: generous staterooms with luxurious new eXhaleâ bedding and Cashmereâ mattresses; The Retreatâ, an exclusive area for suite guests offering a private sundeck, lounge and an exclusive restaurant, Luminae, with a menu created by globally renowned chef Daniel Boulud; a newly redesigned spa; and the Sunset Bar, offering some of the best views from the ship.

The two Mexican Riviera itineraries visit some of the most sun-drenched spots on the Pacific Coast: the romance of Puerto Vallarta, nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific ocean; the exciting vibe of Cabo San Lucas at the tip of the Baja Peninsula; the pristine beaches of Mazatlán, also known as the Pacific Pearl; and the authentic flavors of Mexico on culinary tours and Guadalupe Valley wine tastings offered in Ensenada.

On the Panama Canal journey, guests will enjoy holiday traditions and ring in the New Year onboard while visiting Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta in the Mexican Riviera; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Colon, Panama; and Cartagena, Colombia; along with crossing through one of the world’s greatest manmade wonders – the Panama Canal.

“With Celebrity Millennium sailing the summer 2022 Alaska season, we saw an opportunity to then head south and bring our stunning ship to the LA region, said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises. “As the ship has just completed a voyage of transformation, she will provide the perfect surroundings for West Coasters ready for their own exciting transformative getaway in 2022.”
