Carnival Cruise Line offered a 15 year old boy from Virginia a $5,000 cruise in exchange for the Snapchat handle, @CarnivalCruise.
The Snapchat handle @CarnivalCruise was registered by Darian Lipscomb after he took a Carnival cruise back in 2012. He quickly became a superfan of the cruise line and used the Snapchat handle to document the fun he was having on his Carnival cruises.
Carnival Cruise Line visited the small town of Prospect, Virginia to offer Darian a trip worth $5,000 in exchange for the social media username.
On March 31, Darian and his family will travel to Barcelona, Spain to take the maiden voyage on Carnival Horizon, the 26th cruise ship in Carnival’s fleet. The cruise line is providing flights, hotel, and other special surprises for the family.
They will be the first ones to board the new cruise ship and Carnival Cruise Line promised a special and unique experience for the family.
