Carnival Park and Cruise Packages Available in Long Beach

Now through the end of the year, a resort in Long Beach is offering a “Carnival Park and Cruise” package.  A one night stay and seven days of parking at the property is available for just $179 plus tax. Cruise ship guests looking to stay at Hotel Maya before or after their cruise can book the special package rate at .

Hotel Maya is located adjacent to the Long Beach Cruise Ship Terminal that is now used exclusively by Carnival Cruise Line. The Long Beach facility is unlike any other terminal in the world. Its geodesic dome, originally built to house Howard Hughes’ Spruce Goose seaplane, soars to 13 stories at its highest point and served as the location for many famous Hollywood movies.

With its multimillion-dollar expansion in early 2018, Carnival Cruise Line took over the entire dome for its terminal operations, doubling the space for passengers.

The terminal’s striking design features California’s recognizable landmarks, bringing indoors the state’s iconic natural elements, including a backdrop of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range. In a nod to the dome’s former tenant, a replica of the Spruce Goose hangs from above, as well as the original model of the plane used in the 2004 movie, “The Aviator.” The dome also includes the cruise industry’s first 1980s-style arcade, which is available for families to enjoy.
