Carnival Cruise Line Ships Collide in Cozumel

Two Carnival Cruise Line ships collided this morning in Cozumel causing a little bit of damage to at least one of the cruise ships.

Several people posted photos and videos on Twitter showing the ships colliding and the damage done to the aft section of Carnival Glory.

The cruise ships that collided were Carnival Legend and Carnival Glory. High winds appear to be the cause of the collision. The incident happened at approximately 8:45 am this morning.

  1. This is what happens when amateur captains are in charge of a cruise ship. Hopefully the cruise lines will stop hiring Captains who took on-line courses in seamanship.
