Carnival Sunshine spent the day in St. Maarten, the fifth port stop during the cruise ship’s current 13 day Caribbean cruise. St. Maarten was voted the #1 cruise port in the Caribbean for the third straight year in the 5th Annual Cruise Fever Fan Awards.

The visit is the first of dozens of port calls by Carnival cruise ships to the beautiful Caribbean destination in the coming weeks.

More than 3,000 guests on board enjoyed a wide range of shore excursion opportunities as well as the destination’s world-class beaches and shopping and dining experiences in downtown Philipsburg.
