Price Protection Up to 2 Days Before Your Cruise – Carnival Cruise Line’s Early Saver rate offers you price protection up until two days before your cruise. If the price of your stateroom drops after you book your cruise, you are eligible to move to the new lower price.
While just about every cruise line will honor a price drop up until final payment, only Carnival offers you protection up until 48 hours before you sail. Here is how it works.
When you choose the Early Saver fare on a Carnival cruise and the price drops, your cruise can be re-priced for the lower price as long as the booking is not paid in full. If the booking is paid in full, the difference in fare will be issued as a non-refundable credit for you to spend on your cruise.
This only applies to those you book with the Early Saver rate. If you find that the price of your cruise has dropped, just head over to Carnival.com and fill out this form. If you booked with a travel agent, you will need to contact them to submit it for you. There is no limit to the amount of times you can fill out this form if the price continues to drop.
Great Vacation Guarantee – Carnival Cruise Line’s Great Vacation Guarantee is the first ever guarantee program offered by a vacation company. Carnival is so certain that you will love your cruise, they offer something that no other cruise line offers.
If you are not happy with your cruise within 24 hours of leaving the port of embarkation, Carnival will give you a refund of 110% of the cruise fare that you paid. Guests services will arrange complimentary transportation for you to fly back home or back to the port of embarkation if you drove.
Additionally, if you choose to rebook within a year, Carnival will give you a $100 per stateroom credit to spend on the cruise ship.
Here is how it works. If you are not happy with your cruise, you can go to guests services within 24 hours of boarding the ship. They will then arrange to have you disembark at the next port of call and also pay for your trip home. You will receive a 110% refund of your fare as well as the a $100 credit if you choose to rebook. The cruise line will also cover any hotel accommodations and ground transportation that is needed.
This applies to 3 to 14 day cruises to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera, Canada/New England, Bermuda and Alaska, including holidays. Due to travel restrictions, the Great Vacation Guarantee will not apply to cruises visiting Cuba.
