MSC Cruises has launched an industry first pricing structure that will give passengers the perfect experience based on their own preferences. There are four pricing structures that range from those seeking a budget friendly cruise to the all inclusive VIP club level experience.
The pricing structures are valued up to $700 per passenger in the following four experience categories: Bella, Fantastica, Aurea, and MSC Yacht Club.
The Bella Experience is aimed at budget conscious cruisers who book balcony, oceanview, or inside staterooms. This basic cruise package allows guests to add a la carte services as they desire such as beverage and spa packages. This is the cheapest of the four options.
The Fantastica Experience, or Priority Choice, will give passengers flexibility and comfort options, as well be able to choose the premium locations for the best cabins. They will also receive priority choice of early or late dining. Added benefits to this option are 50% off all personal training and fitness classes, as well as free room service delivery (from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.). Passengers who book the Fantastica Experience on 7 night or longer cruises to the Caribbean on the MSC Divina will receive a beverage package. Only available for those who book balcony, oceanview, or inside staterooms.
The Aurea Experience, or Premium Choice, is a bundle of exceptional amenities. Passengers who book the Aurea Experience will receive priority boarding, a beverage package (unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks – excluding premium drinks), a spa package (massage and spa consultation), access to the adults only Top 18 sun deck, and premium choice of balcony and suite staterooms. Guests will also be able to choose “My Choice Dining” for dining when they wish in the main dining room. Available only for balcony and suites.
The MSC Yacht Club, or Elite Choice, is the VIP all inclusive cruise experience. Passengers who book the MSC Yacht Club will have access to a private club, the MSC yacht Club restaurant, signature butler service, 24 hour concierge, and 24/7 complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the Yacht Club.
Rick Sasso, the president of MSC Cruises USA, gave the following statement:
Consumers are increasingly seeking all-inclusive vacation experiences where all the services and activities they want can be paid for in one bundled package up front. Our new pricing model allows guests to customize their vacation experience based on their own personal desires.
These four new options have been available in European markets and are now being added to the Caribbean after the cruise line received positive feedback from passengers.
I find nothing Excellent about this !!! The Yacht Club is fine but more than that seems totally unacceptable to me. Categorizing passengers as to the amount they have paid for their cruise is simply discriminating to me, how tacky !!!
I was under the impression from a former German Cruise Ship Captain, that this stopped years ago when the ships use to be built having a first class section and they never mixed with the other guest, your “Yacht Club”….. This year alone I have cruised on the beautiful Divina twice and I have two more cruises booked before the end of the year, wish I could cancel. Maybe you should think of a gift of a “Neon Necklace” for your female guest that screams out, “I’m a Bella”, what are you a “Fantastical” or an “Aurea” !!!! I myself have cruised 100+ cruises and had fallen in love with your company and the Divina, in fact on my November 2014 cruise I have gotten twelve others to come along, now I feel embarrassed. I can’t wait to see what categories we are all placed in, all I know is, we all have balcony’s but so what , that means nothing . After my fourteen days on “The MSC Divina”, if this is the policy, I’ll Kiss her Good Bye forever !!!! “Arrivederci Divina”.
This may be an excellent idea but I should not have to pay extra for “my time dining” which I receive free on all other ships and the only way I book a cruise!!!! As for the rest of the packages if you want those by all means pay for them!!!! After 60+ cruises I know what I like or dont like on a cruise and what Im willing to pay for!!!! Happy Cruising…
This is an excellent idea! I would use it.
