7 Types of Cruisers Who Will Love MSC Divina

MSC Divina offers a different style of cruising than other cruise lines offer, a taste of the Mediterranean while cruising the blue waters of the Caribbean. MSC Cruises recently invited me to join a special cruise for #CruiseChat, so I was able to get my second look at what MSC Divina brings to cruising.
I am often asked about MSC Cruises since they offer some incredible rates to the Caribbean. Is a cruise on MSC Divina right for you? Here are seven types of cruisers who will love a cruise on MSC Divina.

Cruisers who love a good night life – When the sun goes down on MSC Divina, the night life heats up all around the ship. On one night on my recent cruise, I walked around and counted at least five different lounges that had live music playing. I have never experienced a ship that had the variety of live music that is offered on MSC Divina. There is something for everyone in the 17 bars and lounges on board.

One of my friends and colleagues, John Roberts from In the Loop Travel, recently published a great article highlighting the night life on MSC Divina.

Cruisers who enjoy a smoke free casino – One of the biggest complaints on cruise ships is not only the smoke while in the casino, but that it often drifts to other parts of the ship that are nearby. The casino on MSC Divina is 100% smoke free. For those who do smoke and want to play in the casino, there is a nearby enclosed cigar bar where smoking is allowed.

Cruisers who enjoy good entertainment – The nightly entertainment on MSC Divina blows away every other cruise ship I have been on. On a seven night cruise, there are six different shows in the theater (largest at sea) including the award winning “The Witches of Paris”, often called the best show at sea.  Standing ovations are daily occurrences in the theater on MSC Divina.

Cruisers who enjoy non-rushed dinners – Dinner on MSC Divina is anything but rushed and you can expect dinner to take anywhere from 90 – 120 minutes in the main dining rooms. This is perfect for those who want a relaxed dinner after a long day of exploring in port.

Cruisers looking for something different – If you are looking for something different while cruising to some of the most popular cruise ports in the Caribbean, then MSC Divina is for you. The ship offers a European twist to cruising that can’t be found on other cruise lines.

Cruisers who love a good massage – Love getting pampered on a cruise? The one hour Balinese massage I had in the Aurea Spa was one of the best massages I have had at sea. The thermal suite was also a great place to relax and had two different saunas and a large steam room.  The specials they offered on my cruise offered a fantastic value.

Cruisers looking for great deals – Seven night cruises to the Eastern Caribbean start at the low price of $399 per person. At less than $60 a day, you can enjoy a week long cruise and visit some of the most popular cruise ports in the world. View Cruises on MSC Divina
