Royal Caribbean earlier today confirmed that Harmony of the Seas will be the name of the 3rd Oasis Class ship that is currently under construction at a shipyard in France.
Harmony of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship in the world when the vessel is completed in April 2016. The ship will be 2.15 meters longer, 5.5 meters wider, and 2,418 gross tons larger than the current largest ship in the world, Harmony’s sister Allure of the Seas.
The cruise ship has been under construction since early 2014. Royal Caribbean has yet to announce itineraries, the home port for their newest mega cruise ship, or special features that the ship will have.
Royal Caribbean confirmed the name Harmony of the Seas on social media confirming rumors that have been swirling around the internet that this was going to be the name of the 3rd Oasis Class ship. Construction on a 4th Oasis Class ship, due to be completed in 2018, began earlier this month.
