Two weeks ago, Cruise Fever reported that Carnival Cruise Line added a new 15% delivery fee to all Fun Shop purchases that are pre-ordered before a cruise.
Carnival Cruise Line has now not only waved the Bon Voyage 15% delivery fee for travel agent purchases, but the cruise line is giving travel agents a 20% discount on more than 240 items in the following categories:
- All merchandise items (cabin décor, apparel, glassware)
- All food prepared onboard as well as prepackaged sweets
- All flowers (new)
- All wine and champagne
- All hard liquor (new)
Note: The discount does not include items that were previously excluded such as:
- Hard Liquor Packages (Rum + Coke package)
- Cruise Cash
- Merchandise Packages (Décor packages, Merchandise + Bev or Food packages as
these items are already discounted) - Beer/Water/Soda
- Cheers! Program
- Bottomless Bubbles Program
- Specialty Dining Reservations
- Internet Packages
However, there is one exception to this: Items that are not eligible for the discount will incur the delivery fee.
Waves are found on the ocean and on people seeing the ship depart. Waives is the word to describe not charging the service fee in the article. Spell check does not replace proofreading.
