Royal Caribbean will be sending a second cruise ship to Cuba in 2019. The cruise line just recently started sailing to Cuba offering four and five night cruises on Empress of the Seas.
RoyalCaribbean.com now lists a four night cruise on Majesty of the Seas departing March 25, 2019 with a stop in Havana, Cuba. The cruise leaves out of Port Canaveral and prices currently start at $540 per person for inside staterooms, $596 for ocean view, and $1,399 for suites, based on double occupancy.
Although this sailing is 20 months away, it wouldn’t surprise me if Royal Caribbean added more sailings to Cuba before that. Ever since the mainstream cruise lines first announced sailings to Cuba, they have added additional voyages due to demand.
Norwegian Cruise Line just announced plans to send a second cruise ship to Cuba. Norwegian Sun will sail all-inclusive cruises to the Caribbean island from Port Canaveral starting in the Spring of 2018. Currently, Norwegian Sky sails to Cuba from Miami.
