Due to the success Royal Caribbean has had since resuming cruises on Quantum of the Seas, the cruise line has announced plans to keep the cruise ship in Singapore through the summer.
Quantum of the Seas was scheduled to sail to Alaska in 2021. Those cruises to Alaska on the ship from April 25 through October 14, 2021 have now been canceled.
Royal Caribbean will still offer cruises to Alaska this year on three other cruise ships: Ovation of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, and Radiance of the Seas.
Those who were booked on one of the canceled cruises on Quantum of the Seas will have three options to choose from.
They can receive a full 100% refund, a 125% future cruise credit, or move their booking to a 2022 sailing departing within one week of their original sail date. If you choose the last option, your fare/promotion that you booked under will be protected.
Quantum of the Seas began sailing short cruises out of Singapore late last year. Royal Caribbean has seen great success with the cruises that don’t visit any ports and remain at sea for the length of the cruises.
