Odyssey of the Seas will be Royal Caribbean’s fifth Quantum class cruise ship and will begin offering cruises in the Fall of 2020 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The cruise ship will head to Rome in the Summer of 2021 and offer cruises in the Mediterranean.
Royal Caribbean has released a few new details about Odyssey of the Seas and here is what we know so far.
Odyssey of the Seas will offer bumper cars in the SeaPlex like other Quantum class ships. However, Royal Caribbean is adding a Playmakers Sports Bar and Arcade on the second level. There will also be a RipCord By iFly skydiving simulator.
SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity space at sea, serves up family friendly thrills like bumper cars, a trapeze school, glow-in-the-dark laser tag.
Other top deck features will include:
- Sky Pad— Whether bouncing around a sugarcoated world, or a planet lightyears in the future, it’s gravity-defying fun in this bungee trampoline experience.
- FlowRider — The surf’s always up as 30,000 gallons of rushing awesome heads your way.
- North Star — It’s time to raise the bar on adventure — with 360-degree views of the world from 300 feet above sea level in our signature observation capsule.

The pool deck will be reimagined with two resort style pools, plenty of shady casitas and hammocks, and tons of tropical flavor. The two story bar, The Lime and Coconut, will be the perfect place to quench your thirst as you cruise in the Caribbean.
The Solarium will have peaceful swimming pools, whirlpools with ocean views and ambience for days and nights.
Splashaway Bay, where kids will find gallons of adventure onboard — at the fun-soaked Splashaway Bay aqua park with slides, water cannons and more.
Social133 will be a new space outside SeaPlex that puts teens right in the center of the action — complete with the largest patio hangout yet.
Taste classic trattoria fare at Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar or head down the rabbit hole to Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine. Far East faves will be offered in Japan’s traditional style at Teppanyaki.
Odyssey of the Seas will also feature Two70. In Two70, the lights go down in this open area panoramic living room, where windows become screens, and aerialists, robots and more take your clients on a journey like no other.
Music Hall is the premier place for live music lovers where the industry’s best cover bands rock like the real thing.
Odyssey of the Seas will begin offering six and eight day cruises to the Caribbean from Port Everglades in the Fall of 2020.
