Royal Caribbean has added unlimited dining packages on their cruise ships. For one low price, you can now eat in specialty restaurants as much as you like throughout your cruise. You can even eat in the same restaurant twice in one night (subject to availability).
This new option that is now offered by Royal Caribbean is good for both lunch and dinner. How much will the Unlimited Dining Package cost? Pricing will vary by sailing and ship class and will start around $24 per person per day for a 7 night sailing.
Chef’s Table and culinary activities are excluded from the Unlimited Dining Package. Package does not include beverages, but does provide 40% off bottles of wine under $100, and 20% off bottles over $100.
Premium items like the seafood tower or upgraded steak at Chops Grille will have an upcharge. For specialty restaurants with a la carte pricing, the Unlimited Dining Package will give you $35 food credit per person for each visit.
Johnny Rockets is included in the package. However, beverages are not. Smoothies are considered beverages and Ben & Jerry’s is considered a beverage venue, therefore neither is included in the Unlimited Dining Package.
You must purchase the dining package for the entire length of your cruise and not just on certain nights.

When you purchase the Unlimited Dining Package through Precruise Planner, a reservation for the first night of sailing will be made for you automatically. However, you’ll need to make the rest of your reservations once onboard. All reservations are subject to availability, so make sure you secure your reservations toward the beginning of your cruise.
What will happen is the quality at the pay restaurants will go down now that they are doing one price. Then they will create up up charge restaurants. When does it stop.
Just another way to nickel and dime the cruiser….getting harder to be loyal to royal 😥
It doesn’t matter what type of deal they give you on the dining package when the food is disgusting. RC needs to provide better quality food at every venue. I paid $50 for the steakhouse and it was worse than the buffet. We had a group of 16 on our most recent RC cruise and everyone complained how bad the food and service was. We are all very experienced cruisers and were shocked how bad an experience RC provided.
