If you want to dine in a specialty restaurant on an upcoming Princess cruise, it’s going to cost you a little more.
Princess Cruises has raised the price for specialty dining on all cruises that departed from April 15 and beyond.
The Specialty Dining charge on Princess cruise ships is now $55 per adult and $27.50 for children ages three to 12, with the standard 18% gratuity added. Well, all ships except for Sun Princess and the cruise line’s next new ship debuting in the fall, Star Princess.
For these two ships, the cost is $60 per adult and $30 for children ages three to 12.
The specialty restaurants that these new prices apply to are:
- Crown Grill
- Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria
- Churrascaria Brazilian Grill
- The Catch by Rudi
- Umai Teppanyaki*
- Umai Hot Pot*
- Makoto Ocean*
- Butcher’s Block by Dario*
- Love By Britto*
*These specialty dining establishments are only on Sun Princess and the soon to debut Star Princess.

To anyone who prebooked their dining prior to April 15, there is some good news. You will have to not have to pay the price increase.
