Princess Cruises is ending their Bon Voyage Experience, a program that allows friends and family to visit your cruise ship for up to four hours on embarkation day.

The program will officially end on June 30, 2019 and all bookings through the end of June will be honored. Bookings made for voyages sailing on or after July 1, 2019 will be fully refunded back to the guests along with a matching Future Cruise Credit for any future booking made by April 30, 2020. Guests who will be receiving the refund and FCC will be notified by the Princess Reservations Help Team.

While the program is ending for now, Princess Cruises said that they are reviewing ways to reimagine their Bon Voyage Experience.  The cruise line is looking into launching a new and improved program in the future.

The Bon Voyage Experience was an innovative new program giving passengers the opportunity to invite their friends and family aboard their cruise ship on embarkation day to share the fun and excitement of sail-away day.

Booked passengers have four hours to show-off their stateroom and the ship, including signature Princess innovations, plus savor a four-course lunch in one of the beautiful dining rooms with friends and family.

There was a $39 USD per person fee that included priority embarkation, a guided ship tour, a souvenir photo and a four-course lunch (wine included) in one of the beautiful dining rooms. In addition, each participant received a $39 USD Future Cruise Credit to be used as a discount on their next Princess cruise.
