Carnival Cruise Line began to resume port stops in St. Thomas yesterday when Carnival Glory became their first Carnival cruise ship to visit the popular cruise port in the Caribbean since the hurricanes last fall.
The visit will be one of the first of dozens of port calls by Carnival cruise ships to the tropical Caribbean destination in the coming weeks.
During yesterday’s call, more than 3,400 guests aboard Carnival Glory enjoyed St. Thomas’ world-class beaches and shopping as well as visits to a variety of local landmarks and attractions.
Next week, Carnival Cruise Line resumes calls to the island of St. Maarten with a visit by Carnival Sunshine.
