Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will begin offering federal workers who are currently impacted by the government shutdown a complimentary buffet lunch and an afternoon onboard one of their cruise ships starting on Monday.
From Monday, January 21 through Thursday, January 31 (every day except for January 25 and 26), federal workers and their families who are impacted by the government shutdown can board one of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line’s ships for a free lunch and afternoon onboard the vessel from noon to 3:00 pm.
Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line requests that federal employees call customer service at 800-374-4363 to reserve their lunch and visit and that they provide a federal ID at port terminal visitor check in.
Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line currently operates two cruise ships, Grand Celebration and Grand Classica. They are the only cruise line to offer daily departures to the Bahamas from the Port of Palm Beach. The cruise line is projected to carry more than 500,000 passengers annually and is the largest contributor to tourism in Grand Bahama Island. Former Norwegian Cruise Line President and CEO Kevin Sheehan is the majority owner of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.
