Cruise and Maritime Voyages announced today that they were placed into administration and have canceled all future cruises. The cruise line posted a message on their website telling guests that they should contact their travel agents as they may have made alternative arrangements for them.

Those who booked their cruise directly with SQTL are protected by ABTA or by their credit or debit card issuer.

Cruise and Maritime Voyages is the second cruise line to file for bankruptcy over the past month.

Pullmantur Cruises filed for reorganization four weeks ago and has sold off all but one cruise ship.
