Princess Cruises is the latest cruise line to launch monthly payment options that are completely interest free.
Princess EZPay was launched on Monday and gives you the flexibility to spread out the cost of your cruise over time with the payments automatically charged to your credit card each month. There are no interest charges or fees from Princess Cruises.
What is the advantage of Princess EZpay? It’s all about flexibility to spread the payment over time. Set it and forget it with no need to worry about any payments.
How often will the debit/credit card be charged? The debit/credit card will be charged once a month beginning approximately 20 days after the deposit is paid, until final payment.
Princess EZpay will initially be rolled out in the call center and on POLAR Online (Travel Advisor booking tool).
The majority of cruises on Princess will be eligible for this offer, however voyages inside final payment will not be eligible as well as any voyage where there is not sufficient time to allow for deposit, at least one monthly payment and final payment.

You will be able to opt out at any time or pay off your cruise early. It’s completely up to you.
Princess EZPay is optional and not required for cruises on Princess Cruises.
As a travel agent for thirty years, our clients have always and continue to have the option of making additional payments without any service fees. If they want to have a certain amount paid each month or week, they can advise us of such and we will process them payment(s) without any fees or inconveniences to them. Your article makes it look like Princess is the ‘only’ way that this can be done. In doing so, another stab is being taken at the travel agent community which are available to their clients via phone or email seven says a week advising them, not take orders.
