Carnival Cruise Line has informed guests and travel advisors that they have cancelled all cruises scheduled to embark between October 1 and October 31. The decision is consistent with CLIA’s announcement to pause ocean cruises from the U.S. until November 1, 2020.
Guests who were booked on one of the canceled cruises are being offered an enhanced value package of a future cruise credit and onboard credit, or a full refund.
If conditions in the U.S. change and short and modified sailings are possible, the industry may consider an earlier restart, and Carnival Cruise Line would consider that as well.
In the meantime, Carnival continues to work with public health and government officials to finalize enhanced health and sanitation protocols and procedures that will guide their eventual return to service on their cruise ships.
Carnival Cruise Line thanked their guests for their continued patience and support as they work through these difficult decisions. When the time is right, Carnival’s terrific onboard team will be waiting to welcome their guests back to give them the great vacation they deserve.
