Carnival Cruise Line has added a variety of ice cream sandwiches onboard Carnival Vista as a way of celebrating National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.
A dozen different varieties of ice cream sandwiches are now available for $3 each in the Cherry on Top shop on Carnival Vista. The sandwiches will also be available on Carnival’s next cruise ship, Carnival Horizon, when the ship debuts next spring.
The gourmet ice cream sandwiches come in a variety of flavors, providing the perfect treat to stay cool this summer. Guests can mix and match from a variety of ice cream and cookie flavors including red velvet, sugar and, of course, chocolate chip), while topping off their handmade confection with a variety of sweet ingredients like colorful sprinkles to create the ultimate frozen treat.

Carnival Vista operates Caribbean cruises from Miami and will reposition to Galveston in September 2018, becoming the largest Carnival ship to sail from that port. Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, Carnival Horizon is set to debut in Europe in April 2018 then heads to New York for summer schedule of Bermuda and Caribbean voyages before shifting to Miami for year-round Caribbean departures in September 2018.
