All of Carnival Cruise Line’s 24 cruise ships will hold a Christmas service on the 24th of December according to Senior Cruise Director John Heald.
The Christmas service will be a non denominational service for passengers to come together and celebrate the birth of the Savior. The service will be a time filled with Christmas hymns, stories and prayers. A member of the staff will lead the service which will feature musicians and performers of the ship.
The congregation will be invited to join in the singing of traditional Christmas hymns. The service will take place on Christmas Eve due to the Christmas show that takes places on Christmas day.
In addition to the Christmas service, a Jewish service will take place during Hanukkah. The service will be a time of the lighting of the Menorah, prayers, and songs. The daily service will take place starting at 5:30 pm on Sunday, December 6 and run until Sunday, December 13.
